We are accepting new in person and teletherapy clients!
Each session will last 45-50 minutes at a time. For the first month of the counseling relationship, it is recommended that we meet once a week. From there, sessions will decrease from bi-weekly to monthly. Together we will identify goals and potential solutions to problems. Through counseling we will examine the behaviors, thoughts, and feelings that are causing difficulties in your life. You will learn effective ways to deal with your problems.
The law protects the confidentiality of all communications between client and counselor. However, there are exceptions to this rule. Exceptions:
The short answer to this question is...yes! If you find yourself struggling with issues related to trauma, grief, addiction, anxiety, or major life changes, then therapy is for you. Therapy provides you with the adequate tools and behavioral strategies to cope with many of life's struggles.
